Ingredients (for 2 small jars):

  • 4 ripe apples

  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon

  • ½ glass of water (about 100 ml)

  • (Optional) 1 date or ½ tsp natural vanilla for a gentle sweet note

Step-by-Step Instructions:

 

 

1. Prepare the fruit

Peel the apples, remove the cores, and cut into evenly sized small pieces.

2. Gentle cooking

Place the apples in a saucepan with the water, lemon juice, and cinnamon.
Cook over low heat for 25–30 minutes, stirring often, until the apples are soft and start to break down.

3. Blend or mash

  • For a smooth texture: blend the warm mixture until creamy.

  • For a rustic version: simply mash with a fork.

4. Jar it up

Pour the hot jam into sterilized jars, close the lids tightly, and turn them upside down for 5 minutes to create an air seal.

5. Let cool

Let the jars cool at room temperature. Store in the fridge for up to 10 days.
